Daniel John Kelly is an actor and director with over twenty years of professional experience currently working primarily as a teaching artist getting students excited about Shakespeare, science and social issues.
He is the Executive Director of the new Lion’s Paw Theatre Company producer of Plays on the Menu.
In New Haven CT he performed at the Yale Repertory and The Long Wharf Theatres; in Westport, CT at the Westport Country Playhouse; in Rowayton, CT at Shakespeare on the Sound. In New York City he has been seen at the Pulse and Miranda Theatres and at Don’t Tell Mama. He has directed plays at Fairfield University, Curtain Call Inc. in Stamford, and the Theatre Artist Workshop in Norwalk. He tours with Interactive Educational Theatre , an improvisational educational theatre group, performing in schools, prisons, community centers and corporations. He teaches acting, hosts corporate events, and was recently the Associate Producer of the award winning short film Glacier Bay.
